There is Hope

The House of Hope of Madison County, Inc. is a halfway house for men suffering from alcohol and/or drug addiction.


Addiction is a disease which bankrupts the individual of self worth, spirituality and freedom. It creates homelessness, unemployment, broken families, incarceration, and depression as well as a host of other problems. Addiction is not a matter of choice but a brain disease which is degenerative, chronic and fatal. Recovery can be difficult and lengthy.

The House of Hope provides a safe, supportive, and structured environment which helps the residents develop a foundation of recovery as well as skills needed for independent living. We are committed to helping the individual recover and become productive members of society. This is a place where addicts can learn how to live life sober.
