Blackwell House
(Three-Quarter House)



The Blackwell House is located in a
quiet, historical area near downtown Anderson, IN.



The Blackwell House is a three-quarter house for clients who successfully completed the halfway house, but are not quite ready for independence. Opened in 1995 to accomodate clients who wished to remain within the program, the Blackwell House is capable of supporting 12 clients at a time. Rent is paid monthly to the house manager. All services available at the House of Hope are available to clients who successfully transition to the Blackwell House.

Key features of the Blackwell House:

  • Program duration is typically 3 months to 2 years.

  • Daily AA/NA Meetings Required.

  • Daily Household Tasks.

  • Curfew.

  • Continued full-time employment/volunteer work.

  • Random alcohol and drug testing.
    Use of alcohol and/or drugs will result in immediate discharge.
